How to Bold, Italic and Underline Ms Word

Modifying the font type is a viable method to alter the visual aspect of text within a document. A font comprises characters such as letters, numbers, and punctuation marks, that share a specific visual design. Font families include size and style variations, like bold or italic styles.

Change the Font in Ms Word:

The most significant impact on the visual aspect of text is achieved by modifying the font. To change the font of a specific text:

Step 1. Highlight the text that you wish to modify.
Step 2. Click the Font drop-down menu located on the Home tab.

Alternatively, you can use the Font drop-down menu on the Mini Toolbar that appears when text is selected.

Step 3.Choose a different font from the list of options.

The text is presently displayed using the font you have selected.

It is crucial to select an appropriate font that matches the intended tone of your document while changing fonts. Refrain from using informal or playful script fonts in professional documents, and it is also advisable to avoid using multiple fonts simultaneously.
